Things I Learned In May

When you move house, don’t long finger jobs like hanging pictures and organising your storage to your liking. It’s a lot easier to do these jobs properly at the start than tell yourself you’ll do them some day.

Keeping lots of last year’s summer wardrobe pays off. A quick spin of a few items in the washing machine and I’m summer ready. I wavered over keeping them, but they did spark joy so they went into the storage bag and have saved me money and time.

Sometimes the thoughts of something are worse than the actual event. And retaining a sense of humour and perspective about potentially difficult and stressful situations can make things a lot more bearable. Growing, learning, etc.
