Food Glorious Food

Yet again this post is about another lunch out. Yesterday, in honour of our national holiday, we decided to put some money into the economy and took ourselves off to The House in Howth. I booked a table for lunch as I had a sneaking suspicion it might be busy and this turned out to be a wise decision as the place was hopping.

We both had fish, which was delicious. I never pass up an opportunity for mussels and there was a delicious creamy crab sauce with them, along with some nice crispy fries. His cod was also yummy. Using public transport to get to and from Howth meant we could both enjoy guilt free glasses of wine, and on our walk back to the train station we picked up yet more fish for dinner sometime next week. Having defrosted the freezer we now have space to actually freeze stuff again.
